چکیده

The needs of the geriatric patients are different than younger patients. The geriatric patients with fracture require multidisciplinary approach to ensure rehabilitation of these patients to their environment. The book has 14 chapters written by the authors who are active members of the Fragility Fracture Network of the Bone and Joint Decade with objective to recognize the special needs of elderly patients with fragility fractures and present orthogeriatric approach to make a beneficial difference to the care of elderly fracture patients, so that necessary competences within the available resources can be developed by all countries to deliver the care.
